Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Sunlight Childcare LLC. By enrolling your child in our daycare, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines ensure a safe, supportive, and smooth experience for all families and children in our care.

1. Enrollment and Admission

  • Children aged 3 months to 12 years are eligible for enrollment.
  • All required forms, including health records, emergency contact information, and parental consents, must be completed before admission.
  • Enrollment is based on availability, and spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Sunlight Childcare LLC reserves the right to discontinue services if policies and guidelines are not followed.

2. Hours of Operation

  • Daycare operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Extended hours and special arrangements may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Flex care for school-aged children is available before/after school, during holidays, and school breaks.

3. Fees and Payment Policy

  • A non-refundable registration fee of $200 is due upon enrollment.
  • Tuition is due on the First Friday of each month, and must be paid in full. Late payments may incur additional charges.
  • Any changes to fees or payment structures will be communicated to parents at least 30 days in advance.
  • Refunds are not provided for absences or holidays.

4. Drop-off and Pick-up

  • Children must be signed in and out each day by an authorized parent/guardian.
  • Late pick-up fees may be applied if a child is not picked up by the agreed-upon time.
  • Only individuals authorized by parents/guardians in writing may pick up children. Identification will be required.

5. Health and Safety

  • Sunlight Childcare LLC follows strict health and safety guidelines. Children showing signs of illness must stay home to prevent the spread of illness.
  • Parents/guardians are required to notify us of any health conditions, allergies, or special needs in writing.
  • In case of an emergency, staff certified in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (MAT) will take appropriate action. Parents/guardians will be notified immediately.

    6. Liability Waiver

    By enrolling your child in Sunlight Childcare LLC, you release and hold harmless the day care, its owner (Kiran John), staff, and affiliates from any and all liability for injuries or accidents that may occur on the premises, provided reasonable care and safety protocols are followed.

7. Snacks

  • We provide healthy snacks  in line with state regulations. Parents are required to provide meals and notify us of any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Parents may also provide meals and snacks from home if preferred, as long as they align with our allergy and health guidelines.

8. Behavioral Policy

  • We foster a positive environment rooted in Christian values, where respect and kindness are paramount.
  • Sunlight Childcare LLC employs positive reinforcement and redirection as behavior management strategies. Physical punishment or harsh discipline is strictly prohibited.
  • Consistent behavioral issues will be addressed with parents, and in extreme cases, may result in termination of childcare services.

    9. Faith-Based Curriculum

    Sunlight Childcare LLC is a Christian faith-based childcare provider. Our curriculum includes Bible stories, songs, and prayers to foster a loving and respectful environment based on Christian values. Parents acknowledge and agree to their child’s participation in these activities by enrolling in our program.

10.Closures and Holidays

  • The daycare will be closed on certain holidays and may close in extreme weather conditions or emergencies. Parents will be informed in advance whenever possible.
  • No refunds or discounts will be offered for closures on holidays or inclement weather.

    11. Photo and Video Policy

    Photos and videos may be taken during daily activities for the purpose of sharing with parents and for internal use. No images of children will be used for marketing or public distribution without parental consent.

12. Parent Communication

  • Open communication between parents and Sunlight Childcare LLC is encouraged. Regular updates on your child’s progress, activities, and behavior will be provided.
  • Parents/guardians are encouraged to schedule meetings if they wish to discuss any concerns or their child’s development.

13. Termination of Services

  • Parents are required to provide at least 15 days’ written notice if they choose to withdraw their child from Sunlight Childcare LLC.
  • Sunlight Childcare LLC reserves the right to terminate services with immediate effect in cases of policy violation, failure to pay fees, or ongoing behavioral issues.
